About Us

New Boomer Music is an independent record label founded to serve the needs of the 80+ million-member Baby Boom Generation.

We are the record label for the Boomer Generation.

Back in the 60's and 70's, thousands of musically talented Baby Boomers went off to become doctors, lawyers, dentists, engineers, and so on. Now, after decades of successful careers and raising families, we are returning to what we love best - music.

But the 80+ million-member Boomer Generation is simply not being served by today's music industry. Big record labels typically don't sign anyone over 30. Radio stations play almost nothing new that we like. And yet 1,000's of Boomers have a talent for writing songs that their friends - other Boomers - love. Until now, there has been no easy way to find and acquire this music.

Enter New Boomer Music

The main premise of New Boomer Music is that Boomers want music similar in style and feel to the music they grew up with. This can be defined as a new "Boomer-friendly" genre. It's NEW music FOR Boomers BY Boomers in a style that is similar to the "Classic Rock" music of the period from 1964 to 1989.

New Boomer Music provides one of the most important functions of a label - effective promotion and marketing of the artist, aimed at generating revenue for the artist through sales of the artist's works and through performance royalties.

Our promotion and marketing is effective because we provide a tightly-focused, targeted marketing and distribution channel to fill a very specific niche by solving a very specific problem.

The Specific Problem We Solve

The Baby Boom Generation is not being well served by the current music industry*:

· The big record labels typically don't sign anyone new over the age of 30.

· With a few exceptions, today's music does not fit with the style that we know and love.

· There are literally thousands of new songs released every month, spanning a vast array of artists, styles, and genres.

How then, does a busy Boomer find music that suits his or her tastes from among this endless sea of music?

And how does a talented Boomer songwriter/artist get noticed?

New Boomer Music is the answer.
